Clean in Place system is a critical equipment in bio-pharmaceutical in order to obtain GMP certification. It has become necessary supplementary equipment for the biological system due to its simple operation method and reliable washing quality. CIP system also can reduce working intensity as it can wash the bioreactors and pipelines without disassembling it. The cleaning effect can be quantifiable via conductivity measurement & automated program for feedback control. This can standardize the cleaning procedure more effectively & efficiently.
During the fermentors CIP cycle, the following agents may be used:
2% sodium hydroxide solution at 70º C
1% hydrochloric acid or phosphoric acid solution at 70º C
Pure water at 70º C
